Introduction

Hello, I am Chaitanya, Avid Tech enjoyer and Hobbyist, I have been enjoying tech since a young child and tinkering with systems has been one of my favourite pastimes in the last few years as my knowledege has grown.

My absolute adoration for Networking, Linux and Cybersecurity

Evidently, The most pivotal move for my knowledege growth has been attributed to my shift to using the Linux Desktop over Windows, Not driven by hatred or dislike for Windows but by curiosity and motivation to try out something new full time (I say full time, as I had been using Linux irregulary on my RaspberryPi), One of my favourite aspects about Linux has genuinely been the Command Line Interface and Terminal Orientated design as I have grown quite fond of the Workflow and convinience over a GUI for some simple tasks (Reading Logs, Quick Config changes, Making directories etc:-) at the slight nuance of remembering shorthands for each command, Another one of my favourite aspects of using Linux have to be the vast software repositories at my disposal (especially for EndeavourOS - An Arch Linux Flavour) allowing me quicky install and query for programs and software.

Another One of my special interests has to be cybersecurity, One of my lesser honed skills yet I have been open to learning and have acquired a ComTIA Security+! and aim to work towards more advanced certifications especially revolving around Linux and Networking, Which being another one of my special interests as I simply admire how Gigabytes Locally and Petabytes globally can transfer so effectively with such efficiency, I have a specific fondness for Protocol design and development, While lacking the skill to develop and design them myself yet, I find time to read and attempt to understand them (Expect quite a few blogs on them!).

The Dream

Another Disciple I have enjoyed since a child was Space, Intersteller phenomenons and Tech in space, having been quite found of How robust and dependable they have been despite being so old, A prime example of this is the Voyager 1 Probe which despite being 40+ years old has helped us increase our knowledge of the outer solar system and beyond the most, this success I attribute to genius engineering and design with redundancy heart, Another one of my favourite space technology has to be the Rovers and probes around Mars, while being a firm believer of protecting our planet over moving to a new one, I simply cannot ignore the technological advancements it has provided us with, A secure Deep-Space Network where we communicate with some of the most mission critical infrastructure securely is something I would absolutely LOVE to explore.

To Wrap up my “short” about-me section, I would love to state that as I progress my knowledege, I would love for the oppurtunity to be able to explore, learn and contribute to the development, architecture and deployment of space infrastructure as I dream to be a Space Security Engineer in the near future.
